Bio
Welcome
My name is Deborah Doyle and I have a First Class BA (Hons) Applied Media, with a specialism in photography, and a FdA (with distinction) in Photography and Digital Imaging.
I particularly enjoy portraiture and documentary photography and worked with children in the nursery sector of education for many years giving me an affinity and ability to interact with them to get insightful and interesting portraits. I enjoy working with new parents to create personalised, individual, fine art images of their newborns as well as providing family portraits, commercial shoots and wedding photography. I also run workshops for primary school children in Photography and Mixed Media which I find immensely rewarding.
On a personal level, I am working on several personal projects that encompass the photographic exploration of the anthropology of modern western society. They intend to challenge people’s perceptions of what they see in the image and have special regard to the media influences that are placed upon women and children. Some of this work can be seen in my work ‘Real Women’ and ‘Nature versus Nurture’.
I am always looking for new models for these projects so please contact me if you are interested in taking part, have any questions, would like to participate in a project, or wish to book a consultation, I can be contacted using the contact link on the left of the page, or you can email me at: contact@deborahdoyle.co.uk
